France, USA, Brazil, Japan, South Africa, other DJs to battle at world edition

The biggest and most prestigious DJ Championship in the world is back.

DMC Nigeria is a series of contests and parties to get the Best DJ in the country to represent Nigeria at the , which is the biggest and most prestigious DJ Championship in the world.

Every year, different countries around the world hold their DMC championship to get the best DJ in their country that will represent them at the world championship. Countries like France, USA, Brazil, Japan, take part every year. In Africa, only South Africa and in recent times, Kenya have been able to send representatives. Nigeria was billed to have a representative last year but we had the Ebola outbreak at the time so it was postponed. This year, the train is on the move and nothing is stopping it!

There will be a nation wide tournament with preliminaries in Abuja, Porthacourtand Lagos where 3 of the best DJ’s from each Zone will be selected to make it to the grand finale which will take place in August, in Lagos. These events will be parties that will see the best DJ’s perform and compete for an opportunity to make it to the finale which will be hosted by Dj Xclusive and DJ Cuppy. DJ Jimmy Jatt leads the team of judges that will pick the winners.

The winner will get N2 million naira plus the opportunity to join the best DJ’s from around the world and represent Nigeria at the world championship which will take place in London this October. The first runner up and second runner up will also get mouth watering cash prizes .
