The African youth awards alumni will be taking the stage this Sunday!
Nigeria’s D'banj and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz have been announced as performers for The Future Awards Africa 2015 (TFAA).
Both African stars are alumni of the awards. In 2007, D’banj was named Young Person of the Year while in 2014; Diamond won the Prize in Entertainment.
Earlier this year, D'banj won the MTV MAMA Evolution award. He has grown his brand from a grassroots brand to a global music brand. In 2012 his song ‘Oliver Twist’ became an international hit single. The singer also known as ‘Banga Lee’ is an ambassador for the ONE campaign that supports agriculture.
Diamond Platnumz is one of the most influential artists on the continent. The Tanzanian singer won the MTV Europe Music Awards Best Worldwide Act earlier this year.
Omawumi will join the two superstars on stage.
TFAA marks 10 years since it’s inception this year. The 10th anniversary of African youth event will be hosted by singer/songwriter Dare Art-Alade and South African OAP, Bonang Matheba.
The Future Awards Africa 2015 is set to hold on December 6, 2015 at Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
