Relations mourn woman butchered by pastor husband (Graphic Photo)

Family members of the young woman butchered by her pastor husband in Edo State are still in tears for her.

Patience Ekukpe who was butchered by husband

Patience was hacked to death by the husband during a domestic disagreement in front of their new born baby at their residence, 19 Uloko Street, Okpoghe Quarters, in Eyaen, New Aduwawa, Benin City, Edo State.

After killing her, Henry reportedly fled the scene but not after leaving a note behind, containing 10 questions, ostensibly for the dead woman to answer.

According to reports, Pastor Henry had inflicted deep cuts on several parts of his wife's body, including the face, arms and chest and then abandoned her to bleed to death.

One of the brother of the late Patience, Justice Aibomosi, took to Facebook to pour out the hurt in his heart with this post:

"My brothers and sisters, it pains me deep down my soul for MR HENRY EKUPKE, who called himself a pastor, to have indulged in such an evil act by killing his wife, who had a 7 months old baby for him with a cultlass and a knife.

Oooo what a painful death. This particular girl is my immediate younger sister. I will not rest until I have this particular man in my arms.

Pls pls pls my brothers and sisters, share with me on this photo to any part of the world in search of this evil man and in any part of the world you find this man, please do call for the nearest police station for his immediate arrest.

Thanks for your concern."

On February 14, Aibomosi had also posted this to mourn the demise of his sister:

"Ooooooo Patience, my beloved sister, you left me so soon and death took you young from us. I never knew death had so much power that it could beat the life out of a living person.

The brutal impact of your absence has left me lifeless. Am gonna sit alone in a quiet room and cry until I can cry no more. I am tired of all the pains inside and I am tired of all the tears falling from my eyes.

I missed you so much, more than a words can ever say; my precious memories of you are with me every day. I close my eyes for only one second, and you were gone. Now, my heart aches, my eyes leak, my soul mourns, and my family are broken.

Only a moment that changed forever. And forever is such a very long time. But, you can be sure we will meet again and part no more.

RIP Patience, my lovely soul mate sister, I miss you."
