On interrogation, he confessed that he stole the bike from the funeral home after he had broken in to sleep with dead bodies.

According to Captain Gordon Griswould of the Columbus Police Department, Smith has been charged with necrophilia case, which carries a prison sentence of one to 10 years.

A necrophilia charge was added after authorities discovered that a woman's body at the Hill Watson Peoples Funeral Service had been disturbed during the alleged burglary.
