Faithful dog jumps into river to save drowning owner

A lot of reasons abound as to why they say dogs are man's best friend. This is one of them.

A dog is man's best friend.

Countless incidents since time immemorial has proven this statement to be very true. Many incidents worldwide have been recorded where dogs risk their lives and defied impossible odds just to protect their owners.

Even in cases of death, dogs have been known to visit the grave site of their owners expressing unmistakable grief, a reflection of their endless loyalty and love.

Whether out of instinct , or a deeper connection which has not yet been understood by anyone, these creatures remain the surest companion for any man as they offer the purest and most sincere love any one specie can offer another. If one takes time to understand and treat them well, then indeed, they would have made a friend for life.

This video shows how an owner pretended to drown, but the dog thinking him in actual danger jumps into the river and drags him to safety. Another testament to the undying fealty of these canines.
