Looking stunning in yellow, famous on air personality, Toke Makinwa dropped by our Lagos head office for a quick chat last week. The Rhythm 93.7FM radio broadcaster was delighted to dish on details on her secret marriage, future vlogging and ...well, being single lady in Africa!

I really need to put my foot down and say this, "being single isn't suicidal". I think the society just put so much concern on this thing called marriage. The new status doesn’t add or takes a whatever status you have, do not be defined by your status

He's my best friend and I love him dearly. Marriage is beautiful thing. I mean, who comes out after 3 weeks to say marriage is not nice?

Why a secret marriage?

It was just a registry. You don’t make noise about a registry ...There might be a bigger wedding coming up. Who knows?

On Vlogging - 'Toke Moments'

I actually just found out that my husband doesn’t watch my videos in an interview and I almost passed out. But I don’t think my marriage status is going to change the hot topics on my Vlog. After all, what do I know about marriage? I’ve been married for just a few weeks.
