Do you think all government officials should follow the examples of PMB and his vice and declare their assets?

President Muhammadu Buhari wants all government officials to declare their assets

During their electioneering campaigns, the now President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Prof. Yomi Osinbajo, promised to declare their assets if they were voted into power.

The All progressive Congress (APC), also made that one of their promise to Nigerians, stating that every official, elected or appointed, will declare their assets for all Nigerians to know what they are worth as part of efforts to curb curroption.

A few days ago, the President and his Vice stuck to their words and declared their assets and has urged all elected officials to do same.

But many of such functionaries including some governors, senators and members of the House of Representatives have kicked against declaring their assets, using the constitution to back themselves up.

Though it is not enshrined in the constitution and no one is mandated to declare his assets, many Nigerians believe it is morally right and a good step to follow if we are to battle the scourge of corruption to a stand still.

On Morning Teaser today, we ask: do you support PMB's calls for all government officials to declare their assets?
