Drunk couple caught having sex at a funeral service

Two sex-starved lovers who were caught making love at a funeral in Anambra State were just lucky to escape lynching by angry youths.

Southern City Sun reports that the man identified only as Chinwuba, and woman were nabbed while engaging in the act in the open while the funeral service of a woman was being held, something the youths saw as an insult on the dead woman and an abomination in the community.

It was gathered that during the funeral services of the deceased, the woman said to a be a commercial sex worker in the area, drank more than was good enough for her and lured the man into having sex with her right in front of other sympathizers.

Sympathizers who were shocked at what was going on right in front of them, pounced on the couple and were given the beating of their lives but while the said prostitute managed to escape, the man wasn't so lucky as the youths at the funeral descended on him, stripped him naked and gave him the beating of his life.

He was, however, fortunate to be rescued by the elders who prevailed on the youths not to beat but that he should be fined for desecrating the land.

A member of the community who spoke on the incident, said:

“The abominable act took place during a burial ceremony of a lady at Umuduru Village, Ihiala.

It was gathered from an eyewitness that a woman believed to be a commercial sex worker living in one of the brothels in this community, apparently under the influence, said she wanted to perform 'a show'.

As part of the show, she stripped and dragged a young man simply known as from Ogboro Umunwaji Village in Ihiala out of the crowd.

right in front of onlookers with impunity. Some angry youths pounced on them and in the process, the lady escaped.

But Chinwuba was not that lucky. It took the intervention of the elders who restrained the irate youths from sending the man to his early grave.

The elders fined him six cartons of beer and an undisclosed amount of money. They [elders] said the fine was to appease the gods of the land for the abominable act,” the community source stated.
