Many have called the unidentified man over protective, while others claim that the gesture had been done because he was protecting his wife.
Gulf News reports that over a 100,000 people have commented on the picture in the last few days.

One woman is reported to have commented, saying:
"Greatly appreciated the man's level of jealousy' and that it showed how much he loved his wife."
Strangely, others said she had been 'treated with respect and dignity', adding that the man has shown himself to be 'overprotective'.
