Court convicts man for stealing generator

The police charged Oyebami, whose address was not given in court with stealing and burglary offences.
The accused, however, pleaded guilty to the charges.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Mr Chudu Gbesi, told the court that the accused committed the offences on Dec. 28, 2016, about 7 p.m. at No. 26 Adenike Street, Off Aparadiya via Itele, Ota.
Gbesi said that the accused broke into the house of one Kemi Adewale and stole a N16, 000 worth Tiger generator.
He said that the offences contravened Sections 390 and 411 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
