The reports reveal that workers at the crematorium located in Pan’an, the eastern province of Zhejiang, China had been preparing to cremate the baby boy on Friday when he shockingly started moaning.

Dead baby awakens before cremation

AFP reports that he had been declared dead the previous day and had reportedly spent 15 hours in the morgue, in a temperature of -12 degrees Celsius (10.4 F)

The crematorium had immediately notified the child's father that the child was alive and had been admitted into the intensive care unit at the hospital.

A doctor at the hospital where the baby had been born premature in January of this year, had said:

“It’s the first time I’ve seen this. It’s a true miracle.”

The child had reportedly spent 23 days confined to an incubator and had later been taken home by his father, who had wanted him there for the start of the Lunar New Year beginning on Monday.

Sadly, the baby’s condition had reportedly worsened after a few days spent at their home, and had been declared dead on February 4 after a doctor determined that his heart had stopped beating

The reports went on to reveal that the father had wrapped the baby up in two layers of clothing and a thick bag, before he had been taken to the morgue.

The doctors believe that they may have been responsible for saving the boy's life but nevertheless, are still concerned about his chances of recovery.
