City People loses Deputy Editor

Another top practicing journalist in Nigeria has lost her life after what was described to be a very brief illness.

The late Bola Davies

According to an announcement on the website of the magazine, Davies who was its Oyo/Osun Bureau chief, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at her hometown in Ondo State.

Though details of the ailment that claimed Davies's life has not been made public, close friends says she did not show signs of any sickness prior to her death.

The lady who was described by colleagues as very dedicated and resourceful, joined City People magazine over 10 years ago and rose through the ranks.

She was a Deputy Editor before her sad demise.

May her soul rest in peace.
