A 60-year-old woman, Kehinde Adeniyi, has been arrested and arraigned before an Isolo Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State, for allegedly cutting off the ear of her neighbour, Chigozie Chukwu, with a table knife.

In the report carried by PM News, the victim's wife, Anita, had a disagreement with Adeniyi, a single mother with grown up children, at their 24, Mohammed Sefiu street, Ago Palace Way, Okota, residence, and when he tried to intervene, she attacked him and cut off his right ear.

According to the report, Adeniyi, an indigene of Ijebu in Ogun State, and Anita had been at logger heads for a while after Anita allegedly called her a prostitute during a quarrel because she was single mother with children.
