A 17-year-old who has been suffering from depression commits suicide moments after posting photos on Instagram.
A depressed 17-year-old boy, Billy Watts, from Detroit, USA, told all his friends on Instagram that he would end his life by posting photos of the suicide attempt on his Instagram page.
And moments later, he had taken a dive into the Detroit River. His body was recovered few hours later.
The young chap who seemed very happy with life, going by his photos, posted the shocking messages giving his friends timely directions that would lead to the end of his life.
He started by posting a photo and a message of himself where he wrote "I'm here", giving an indication that he had gotten to the destination where he would commit the suicide.
In the next photo, he wrote, "Smile, you've lived" and finally, a photo of his wrist watch and he wrote "Time to see if my watch is waterproof."
A few minutes after posting the pictures and messages, he jumped from that rail and plunged into the river.
According to his close friends, Watts had suffered depression for many months and had openly talked about it on Instagram but none of them thought he could take the easy way out.
