Saint Laurent went out all dramatic on Instagram as the brand wiped all the previous works of its former creative director; Hedi Slimane who stepped down days ago from the social media page!

Saint Laurent went out all dramatic on Instagram as the brand wiped all the previous works of its former creative director; Hedi Slimane who stepped down days ago from the social media page!

Hedi Slimane stepped down from Saint Laurent after a four year stint at the luxury brand. The French designer is famous for the name change/drop of the brand (from Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent) as well as creating rock and roll designs for the brand which became hits amongst famous celebrities.

A look at the brand's Instagram page shows an 'empty' page with posts of Slimane all wiped out with a new profile picture and portrait of the designer's replacement; Anthony Vaccarello whose appointment was introduced.

Followers revealed their displeasure as they've taken to social media to ask questions like if there's no issue with announcement why erase Slimane's work of four years?

Vaccarello is set to present his first collection for the luxury brand for Spring 2017.
