Forty-two schools Lagos schools are set to play for a share of the N5 Million cash prize to be won in the Season 6 of the GTBank Lagos State Principals Cup.

A total of N5 Million is up for grabs as forty-two schools face-off on the pitch in the GTBank Lagos State Principals Cup Season 6.
In a draw held in Lagos last Thursday, 24 male schools were drawn into eight groups of three teams, while 18 female teams were drawn into six groups of three teams each.
Last season's champions in the male category, Dairy Farms, Agege, were drawn in Group G with Merian Community High School
The female champions, Government Girls College, Agege, will slug it out with fellow Group F members Ifako Comprehensive Secondary School
A total of N5 Million will be won in the tournament.
Winners in both male and female categories will go home with a N1 Million cash prize while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up will get N750,000, N500,000 and N250,000 respectively.
The GTBank General Manager, Communication and External Affairs, Lola Odedina, said the competition is aimed at helping youths to develop sporting talents.
"The Principals’ Cup competition paves the way for youths to cultivate their sporting talents and aptitudes, while fostering and building a healthier lifestyle at a critical stage in their lives," Odedina said.
Student Pulse gathered the most valuable players in the last edition of the tournament,Sunday Adeoye of Dairy Farm Senior Secondary School Agege and Yetunde Fajobi of Government Girls College, were given tickets to the Brazil 2014 World Cup won by Germany.
