The Registrar has a message for anyone against his work

Prof. Is-haq Oloyede

The Professor has raised an alarm, claiming some forces are standing between the way of progress of the board. He believes they are trying to frustrate the efforts being made to ensure the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is a success.

But haters will be haters. He's making it clear that he will step on toes, if need be, no matter how big they are.

We know this because he spoke about it on Wednesday 26th of April, during a training workshop for the forthcoming UTME.

He also announced that the mock examination, which was initially cancelled, will be held in some selected centres across the country for interested candidates. The new date is Saturday 29th of April. and it will be conducted in 633 Computer Based Test centres.

Here's what he said:

“People are bent on creating problems where none exists. I believe their toes are very big and I don’t mind stepping on them. We believe that at the end of the day, Nigerians will know the truth and who to appreciate and who to condemn.

“So I expect all other stakeholders involved in the system not to sabotage the efforts of JAMB but reciprocate such gesture and goodwill so that we could give Nigerians the best of services they deserve.”

Just about a week ago, the guys at the University of Ibadan chapter of ASUU were calling not just for the Registrar to resign, but for JAMB to be scrapped.

Well, from what Prof. Ishaq is saying now, that resignation letter isn't coming in any time soon, and if they try to step in his path, he's going to step on their toes.
