American women's star Sloane Stephen is apparently a huge fan of Nigerian football.

The seven-time WTA Champions was spotted wearing the home kit of the Nigerian Football team while she trained on the clay court in Madrid in a footage that emerged on popular social media platform ,Twitter.

The 29-year-old world number 43 won her seventh WTA title of her career at the Guadalajara Open back in February and is currently competing in this year's Madrid Open.

However, she has lost three of four matches played since then, including her first clay-court match of the season at the Charleston Open.

Stephens is excellent on the clay on her day, and she previously finished runner-up to former world number one - Simona Halep, at Roland-Garros in 2018, the year after winning her first and only Grand Slam at the US Open.
