Ivory Coast midfielder resumes Manchester City training

Toure has been out of the first team for a while Pep Guardiola demanding an apology from the midfielder’s agent for some comments he made about the coach and the club.

Although Toure’s agent has not dropped any apology, the midfielder joined the first team in training on Tuesday, September 27 before their Champions League clash with Celtic the following day.
Toure’s last appearance for City came in the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Steaua Bucharest, with City already leading 5-0 from the away fixture.
The 33-year-old was subsequently omitted from City's squad for the group stage.
The former Ivory Coast international was, however, all smiles as he trained at the City Football Academy, the first 15 minutes of which were open to the media.
