With the 1-0 win over Costa Rica, Brazil have now won 10 of their 11 games against the North American side.

3. World Cup losing streak

After the 2-0 loss to Brazil, Costa Rica now have nothing but pride to play for in their last game against Serbia.

The North Americans are now winless in their last five World Cup matches.

4. Coutinho the new force

While Neymar keeps hogging the headlines, Coutinho has been Brazil’s best player at the 2018 FIFA World Cup so far.

Coutinho has now been directly involved in four goals in his last four matches for Brazil. His three goals and one assist are as many as his previous 14 games combined for his country.
