Shola Ameobi Makes Turkey Switch

Nigerian striker Shola Ameobi has bid goodbye to the St. James' park with a move to Turkish second division side

The 32 year-old joined Gaziantep Buyuksehir Belediyespor after 14 years at Newcastle where he made397 appearances, scoring 79 goals.

Ameobi who represented Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, was let go by the English club due to a structuring programme after the club finished 10 last season with 49 points
