APC members murdered in Rivers State

The Media and Public Affairs office of the State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) released a statement and photos of their members killed today by alleged PDP militias.

"Armed militias working for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have intensified their killing of APC members. Scores have already been killed and several others marked for elimination.

This morning (March 28, 2015) in Kpite Town, Tai Ward 2 and other areas of the State, five people were shot dead by PDP’s armed militia, and that was before accreditation commenced,” the APC chariman in Rivers State, David Ibiamu Ikanya, said in a press statement.

He also claimed several APC members were arrested in different wards in the state.

There have been a high number of reports of violence in Rivers State, especially against members of the All Progressive Congress.
