Tom Holland Is Psyched to Be Chris Pratt’s Brother in Pixar's Onward
Peter Quill. Peter Parker. They met in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame , and now they're reunited...as elf brothers?
During last night's NBA Finals, the first trailer for Pixar's Onward debuted, and anyone paying close attention could certainly make out a few familiar voices-yep, that's Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as an odd couple going on a "quest" in a world that sets fantasy creatures in suburban life.
Pratt and Holland both took to social media just as the trailer was unveiled to share their utter excitement for the project. Pratt called the project "what is legit maybe the greatest movie in history,"

Big claims, given his role in that other project that's run by Disney!
The Guardians of the Galaxy and Parks and Recreation star also shared the trailer on his Instagram, saying that he "cried when [he] first heard the pitch"

The Pixar film takes place in a "suburban fantasy world," and you can see both actors as clearly perfect fit in the trailer-Holland as the nervous, by-the-book younger brother, and Pratt as the fun-loving, van-driving older brother, excited to go on a quest.
The two Marvel mainstays aren't the only big names in Onward's voice cast either-comedy legend Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld, Veep) and Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer (soon to be seen in the wild-looking horror flick Ma) are present as well, with more big names sure to come later.
The trailer gives off a bit of a Zootopia vibe, with elfs, mermaids, trolls, dragon dogs, and unicorns all living like regular suburban people and animals.
You'll have to wait almost a year to see Onward in theaters, though-it's not due in theaters until March 6, 2020. Those of us craving for that Pixar charm will just have to settle for a little movie called Toy Story 4, which debuts in less than a month, on June 21.
