A message was posted along with pictures of the training session on the Super Falcons official Twitter handle.
It stated “Today in training, Coach Dennerby was present as the preparations for the WAFU Women's Nation's Cup continued. #SoarSuperFalcons”
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had earlier unveiled Swedish coachThomas Dennerby as handler of the Super Falcons at the end of January.
Dennerby's first task is to lead the Super Falcons to the 2018 WAFU Women’s Cup in Ivory Coast from February 10 -24.
The Swedish coach has resumed duties as 35 players have been selected for the tournament, and the coach put the players through his routine, with assistance from the other Falcons coaches.
Dennerby will also be in charge for the Super Falcons 2018 AWCON qualifiers as well as the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
