The former France international who regularly coached the club's various age group is set to become an official part of the club’s Under 18s.

Arsenal are currently negotiating with Henry who is also a pundit on Sky Sports.

According to Daily Mail, Henry has impressed the club’s senior officials at their HQ at London Colney in Hertfordshire.

He has been very professional and dedicated to passing his wealth of knowledge to the youth players.

With current head of academy Andries Jonker and Under 16s coach Jan van Loon both set to leave, Arsenal are also offering Mikel Arteta a role in the youth teams.

His departure from Arsenal have already been confirmed but the club is offering him a coaching role to stop him from going to Manchester City to join Pep Guardiola who wants him as part of his crew.
