Police arrest suspected killers of disabled 20-yr-old student

Police in the UK have arrested a man and a woman believed to be the killers of a disabled student, Susan Whiting.

The suspects, Steven Beard, 34, and Julie Beard, 35, were arrested on Tuesday after Whiting's body was discovered under a bed in a house on Heather Close.

Both will be arraigned on Saturday.

Whiting had been declared on Monday after she had spent Sunday night at a friend’s house and was nowhere to be found when her mother came to pick her up on Monday morning.

A port mortem showed that the student died from head injuries.
