The uncertainty surrounding Kelechi Nwakali at Huesca is still far from over. Nwakali returned to the club on Wednesday, more than a week after Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) exit.

The club hierarchy is reportedly very unhappy with Nwakali as this is not his first disciplinary issue at the club

The Super Eagles player is set to pay the price for his indiscipline as Huesca have reportedly banned him from training with the first team.

This news comes as somewhat of a surprise as Nwakali made a post on his Instagram page wearing the team's training kit.

A report also claims the club is seriously considering his future and might even consider letting the talented midfielder leave at the end of his current deal.

Jorge Pulido, Nwakali's captain at Huesca is also unimpressed by his antics and is demanding an explanation from the Super Eagles midfielder.

"I hope he gives a good explanation about his absence because those of us who work every day deserve it," Pulido said.

However, all things are not looking bad for the former Arsenal man. Huesca's Sporting Director Ruben Garcia believes Nwakali wants to play for the club and would like to see him succeed in Spain.

"We would be delighted if he has a change of attitude" Garcia said yesterday.

If this truly is the end of Nwakali's Spanish journey, he will not find it hard to get new suitors.

He was reportedly on the radar of a few Championship clubs in the winter transfer window including Barnsley.

A lack of game time will hurt his chances of making the Super Eagles squad set to face Ghana on March 23.
