Ouma who lived in Migori county, a city in Western Kenya, was shocked to find out that his wife was going round distributing herself to other men and decided to drink a poisonous substance at his Opea village home in Karungu,  Nyatike sub-county,  after accusing the wife of being unfaithful.

He allegedly left behind a written note in which he mentioned the names of the nine men he suspected to be sleeping with his wife.

Before committing suicide, he beat his wife mercilessly after she had denied the claims of infidelity.

Migori County police boss, David Kirui, said they had commenced investigations into the incident.
