It was gathered that the bride-to-be identified as Olanike, was set to walk down the aisle with her fiance whose name was given as Ayebameru, when she was abducted.

It was further learnt that guests who were not aware of the sad incident, trooped to the venue of the wedding the next day only to be confronted with the sad occurrence.

Sources stated that a couple who are members of a gang acted as informants to three other members of the gang, who carried out the kidnap of the would-be bride, on the eve of the wedding.

Police report has it that the bride was abducted in front of her house located at Mama Nigeria street, Ayeka via Okitipupa, together with her son on Friday, June 10, and taken to an unknown.

Police sources hinted that the bride-to-be had gone for shopping with her son in her Space Wagon car ahead of the wedding but was was double-crossed by the kidnappers who abducted her as she was about driving into her compound on her way back.
