Manchester City striker now highest scoring South American in EPL history
Manchester City were mauled by with Sergio Aguero scoring the consolation for the Citizens.
That goal in the 44th minute first took his tally to seven goals in nine appearances in the English Premier League this season.
That is also his 85th goal in the EPL making him the highest scoring South American player in the history of the league.
Second on the list is his Argentine compatriot, Carlos Tevez who has 84 goals during his spell at West Ham, Manchester United and City.
Luis Suarez scored 69 goals during his three-and-a-half seasons at Liverpool making him the third on the list.
Former Uruguay international Gus Poyet is fourth with his 54 goals during his seven year spell with Chelsea and Tottenham.
Nolberto Solano completes the top five with 49 goals during his time in England with Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham.
