Rickie Fowler's success at the Players Championship has seen him climb into the top 10 of the world golf rankings.

Following his victory at the Players Championship, Rickie Fowler has climbed to a joint career high of ninth in the world rankings.

The American prevailed in a three-way play-off at Sawgrass on Sunday, seeing off compatriot Kevin Kisner and Sergio Garcia.
Fowler has risen four places to ninth, having achieved the position late last year.
Garcia, who looked on course to win in regulation play on Sunday, has climbed three places and is now seventh.
