GOALKEEPER
Kayode Bankole (Remo Stars): The goalkeeper saved a last minute penalty to help his side secure their second win on the road this season.
DEFENDERS
Tope Olusesi (Enugu Rangers): Skipper of the day; the full-back was his usual self, helping his side in attack and grabbed the opening goal to set his side on their way to another win.
Somiari Alalibo(Enyimba): The former Dakkada centre-back had a stellar performance at the heart of the defense and was able to keep the opposition attackers at bay on multiple occasions.
Charles Okafor (Akwa United): It was a composed and decisive performance from the defender. He scored a beautiful goal a striker would have been proud of as well.
Ebube Duru (Rivers United): The full-back scored his side’s third goal and was ever-present in both boxes as his side claimed a first win in three games.
MIDFIELDERS
Dayo Ojo (Remo Stars): The mercurial midfielder continued to come good for the Sky Blue stars as he scored the opener and worked tirelessly to ensure his side extend their unbeaten run.
Haggai Katoh (Plateau United): Katoh had a fine performance in front of the home fans as he was decisive in and out of possession to help his side to a very comfortable win against Dakkada.
Babatunde Bello (Sunshine Stars): The midfielder helped his side exercise their dominance in the central areas on Sunday. It was a commanding performance from Bello.
FORWARDS
Rafiu Ishaq (Rivers United) The former Remo Stars man scored and helped set up another in the relatively comfortable win over the Harmony Boys.
Nyima Nwagua(Rivers United) Nyima took his goal brilliantly and won a penalty in front of the home support. It was an highly influential performance from the former Pillars man.
Sunday Anthony (Plateau United) The fleet-footed winger scored twice and was a thorn in the flesh of the visitors while he was on the pitch.

Gbenga Ogunbote (Remo Stars) It was another win on the road for the Sky Blue Stars as they continued their excellent start to the campaign.
