Should a woman help a man pay her bride price?

It is widely believed that a woman should be a help meet to her man. Assisting him to bear whatever burden he faces in life, and seeing him through difficult times in his struggle to make a home for her and the family.

In as much as her assistance is needed, what happens where the burden he bears turns out to be her own bride price? Should she help out with that? Or is that the man's sole responsibility?
