Super Eagles striker says his late dad prayed for him before he died

Ighalo took to social media to announce the passing of his dad, Paul Ighalo in the early hours of Monday, April 25.

The Watford striker later revealed that his father died in his sleep just days after he was treated in a hospital after he complained of weakness.

Ighalo said he spoke to his father on Saturday and he prayed for him and his family.

“I spoke to him on Saturday, which is the normal routine between father and son. He prayed for me and my family,” the striker told .
