German singer Nikki Tall explains how he delved into Nigerian music starting back in 2008, meeting up with two Nigerian DJs in Germany, of which at that time 9ice’s ‘Gongo Aso’ was the song popping, his thoughts on the growth and reach of Nigerian music overseas.

The singer who comes from a music family explained how the song went viral after uploading his guitar assisted ‘Gongo Aso’ version online, which gave him his breakthrough invite to perform in the UK back in 2009.

He mentioned , , and 9ice as artistes he would love to collaborate with, and talked about the reach and international appeal that Nigerian music has been able to gather over the years.

Nikki revealed he will dropping his own original single titled ‘Back to sender’, a remix featuring a Nigerian artiste in the U.K. and speaking of possibility of having a career here in Nigeria, Nikki said,

"I'm a christian and I believe in God, if God really wants me to become a musician here in Nigeria, then I have to go for it, right now we are working towards it, if it really is going to be endorsed by God like that and He makes me that big that I don't need to work on the other side anymore, then I'll go for it and I'll be looking out for that passport".
