NAFDAC Could Ban Dencia's Whitenicious

NAFDAC (National Agency For Food And Drug Administration), is the regulatory body set up by the government, to ensure the entry and circulation of only the right quality Materials for consumption in Nigeria. These include Food, Drugs and cosmetic products.

Now considering the long term effect of Bleaching and skin lightening, the regulatory body might shut the gates in the face of Dencia’s Whitenicious Product. This is because it causes skin lightening, and change in the complexion of the user. Irrespective of the fact that it might have earned her an Interview with Oprah Winfrey, and given her major media attention lately, it is likely that NAFDAC could ban Whitenicious in Nigeria.
