One Direction Wins Big

20th annual MTV Europe Music Awards held at Glasgow yesterday- October 9, 2014 with eccentric and colourful rapper Nicki Minaj.

The English-Irish pop group One Direction were the main winners on the night as they took home Best Pop, Best Live and Biggest Fans. They were not however around to collect their awards, instead thanking their fans in per-recorded video clips.

Other acts who won include Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and 5 Seconds Of Summer.

Nicki Minaj who had a good hosting gig performed a medley of her hit songs and debuted a new single 'Bed Of Lies' featuring 'Bed Of Lies'. Other performers on the night were U2, Ed Sheeran, Royal Blood and artist Kiesza.
