Telco giant partners with CNN to grow SMEs

Reports have revealed that leading telecommunications company, MTN recently entered into a partnership with CNN, the world’s news leader, to inspire business growth and development in Africa through an initiative called AfricaView.

Sources say the initiative, which airs within CNN’s flagship news and current affairs programme ‘Connect the World with Becky Anderson’, every Monday on Connect the World at 1600 GMT, is expected to showcase how the company leverages customized solutions of the MTN Business platform in offering a suite of Voice, Internet, Data, Cloud and Branch Connectivity Solutions to grow enterprises most especially in the SME space.

As a thought leader in Africa’s ICT sector, MTN will be hosting a special forum to highlight what it is doing in the continent to grow businesses, how these businesses especially SME’s can leverage on the various solutions provided by MTN Nigeria to achieve their different business goals as well as MTN’s digital capacities despite impediments to providing the best services.

According to sources, the forum, with the theme: Inspiring Business Growth in Africa, will feature seasoned panelists such as Pat Utomi, a Political Economy and Management expert, Mike Ikpoki, Managing Director of MTN Nigeria and MtetoNyati, Group Chief Enterprise Officer for MTN.
