Billionaire businessman dies at 79

Billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Molade Okoya-Thomas is dead.

The businessman’s death on Monday, February 2, was confirmed via Twitter by Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu.

The Nigerian Table Tennis Federation has also confirmed the death of Okoya-Thomas who was the sponsor of the annual Asoju Oba of Lagos Table Tennis Championship.

Before his death, Okoya-Thomas was the Asoju Oba of Lagos, Babasuwa of Ijebu-Remo, Odofin of Ife and also the Chancellor of the Lagos State University and Chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited.

The official cause of his death is still unknown.
