Veteran actor is now poor, homeless

Hard times have come upon veteran actor and playwright Lari Williams.

Williams who has starred in over 15 soap operas and featured in several Nollywood movies revealed he is poor and homeless at the moment at the Beautiful Nubia Live Concert which took place at the Eniobanke Art Centre on Sunday, July 26, 2015.

At the event he also performed a bit of his poetry. Williams is a strong pioneer of TV and film in Nigeria. He appeared in the classic Nigerian TV series 'Village Headmaster" which is in the history books as the first Nigerian soap opera. He is the first actor to perform on Zuma Rock, Abuja, and was in one of the early home videos "Witch Doctor of the Living Dead.”
