Commissioner dies one month to 43rd birthday

Zarummai, who is the Commissioner for Science and Technology, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital.

According to a report by Daily Post, Zarummai, who is the Commissioner for Science and Technology, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.

Zarummai's death was further announced to political society in the state in a statement released by the Media Assistant to the All Progressives Congress, APC in Sokoto, Bashar I. Jabo on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

“It is with deep regret that I have to announce the death of Hon. Nasir Zarummai (Commissioner Of Science & Technology, Sokoto State) who passed away last night, 4th of March 2016 at Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness. May his soul rest in peace!” the statement read.
