If there's one thing the movie Mamma Mia knows how to do, is give us travel envy. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, released in cinemas on July 20, is said to feature vibrant island shots. Although the action is set on a picture-perfect Greek island of Skopelos, the filmmakers chose the sun-soaked holiday hotspot of Vis instead.

Of all the islands in Croatia, Vis is said to be the most mysterious even to locals, according to the Lonely Planet. The remote island itself looks like something out of a travel brochure — white sands, turquoise waters, pristine white buildings and lush greenery.

There are lots to see and do in Vis, though Vis Town is where you'll find the bulk of tourist engagements. The Roman bath remains, Greek architecture and a few museums can be seen in town.

Stiniva Bay is home to crystalline waters you can go swimming in, fine sands to bask on and some pretty impressive rock formations to gaze at.

You can also climb up the Mount Hum path - it's one of the best vantage points for panoramics of the entire island — with Tito's Cave on your way back down (an abandoned bunker)

This Island should be on your list of top places to visit for the summer!
