In the heat of the case, Gloria had come out to say that her husband whom she had three children for, had a homosexual partner and he wanted to kill her so that he can be with the man.

The news of the domestic violence that almost led to Gloria's death was brought to the fore by Woman Rights Activist, Dr Joe Okhei-Odumakin who made sure Nigerians and the world were of the case. She took it up and made sure the case was taken to a court of law with the aim of making the man pay for his crimes.

But today, Jude is a repentant abuser and has promised to join the fight against domestic violence. This much was made known by the indefatigable Odumakin on her twitter handle.
