NPFL goal king confirms Spartak Moscow move

Obaje netted 18 goals in the 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season helping Wikki to a third place finish.

After a two-week trial with the Russian side, the striker is confident that he will soon sign for the Russian side.

“It was a successful trial for me as they (Spartak Moscow) were impressed with my performance in training sessions,” the striker told .

“My agent is in talks with the club officials and every other detail will be sorted out soon.

“It is my dream to play in Europe and I hope to actualise that this time around.”

In a related development, the striker will get the sum of N100, 000 from the Rashidi Yekini Foundation as a reward for being the highest goal scorer in the 2015/2016 NPFL season.
