Heading into the third round of fixtures, the Aces lead the table by just three points after losing two of their three matches in the previous round in Singapore.

The Aces had previously been unbeaten prior to their setbacks against the Singapore Slammers and the Manila Mavericks and will need to recapture their strong form in order to remain at the top of the standings.

But they can afford to have plenty of confidence going into the penultimate round at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, with their icon player Federer, who helped Switzerland to Davis Cup glory last month, sure to provide a significant boost to their fortunes.

The world number two will face one of the opponents he helped defeat in the Davis Cup final versus France, as the Aces take on the Mavericks in their first match of the round.

That encounter pits Federer against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who will be hoping to get the better of player he has beaten five times in his career and lead the Mavericks to consecutive wins over the Aces.
