Ex-Gov.'s aide builds expensive restaurant in South Africa

According to sources, the restaurant, which caters majorly for the Nigerian market in South Africa, is known as Chops and is situated on Richards drive Midrand in the heart of Johannesburg.

In a brief chat with Jumbo-Nze, a seasoned marketing professional, he noted that the decision to open a restaurant in South Africa was solely as a result of the yearning by Nigerians in South Africa.

"Chops is a Tavern of repute in the heart of Johannesburg and it didn't just come to existence. We did our research and found out that Nigerians in South Africa yearn for a restaurant that would cater for the cuisines as it is prepared in Nigeria, hence, we decided to kick off the restaurant," Jumbo-Nze said.

Speaking further, he said, 'It is worthy to note tht Chops isn't just a restaurant but also an event centre that can conveniently seat a thousand people at once and we are already making plans to open up more branches.'

It was also gathered that Chops has become a hotbed for Nigerians resident and visitors who crave for Nigerian cuisines in South Africa.
