This was disclosed today, June 30, by Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau via a statement.

The statement was released by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Bassey Akpanyung.

According to the statement, Dambazau urged Nigerians to use the opportunity of “this spiritual rejuvenation to reflect on the imperative of unity and peaceful co-existence in strengthening the bond of togetherness for a strong, virile nation.”

The minister also wished Nigerians a peaceful celebration. Eid-el Fitri is celebrated to mark the end of the Muslim Ramadan fast.
