In the exhibition game played in Houston, Texas, D'Tigers were totally blown away, 110-66 by a Carmelo Anthony led United States team.

Anthony led the way with 19 points, Klay Thompson scored 17, Kevin Durant  has 14, DeMar DeRozan 13 while DeAndre Jordan and DeMarcus Cousins  had 10 each.

D'Tigers had some good moments early in the game courtesy of Benjamin Uzoh who drove through the lane slam dunk over DeAndre Jordan.

At that point in the game, Nigeria was just losing by a point much to the surprise of the sell-out crowd.

After his heavy defeat, Nigeria will face face Croatia on Thursday, August 4 before before games against Spain, Brazil and Lithuania.

This is only the second time they would be playing the Olympic Games. Their first participation was in the 2012 games in London.
