Petrol stations to start 24 hours service

Filling stations in strategic locations across the nation have been directed by the Department of Petroleum Resources to operate on a 24 hours starting from the Easter period and beyond.

The announcement was made public on Saturday, March 26, 2017 by the DPR Director of Petroleum resources, Mordecai Ladan.
Ladan disclosed that while the DPR had constituted special intelligence monitoring teams to ensure prompt delivery, it has also ordered oil marketers to commence massive loading of the products to petrol stations across the country.
In his words, “The DPR, hereby, directs All depots with liftable petroleum products to truck out massively to designated filling stations as programmed while all filling stations in strategic locations shall continue to operate 24 hours during the Easter holidays.”
