Chioma Achebe and her beau, Uchechi Iweala took their traditional wedding party to Umuahia, Abia state on New year's day 2018.

In a private ceremony held to commemorate the beginning of their new life together, the Harvard-trained lovers were joined by just few family and friends, according to several reports.

Uchechi is said to have graduated from the Harvard Medical School in 2014 and is based in Washington, DC, where he practices as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Chioma lives and works in D.C too, having graduated from Harvard Law and Business school. She works as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BSG), Washington D.C.
